Welcome back to Inside McRaven! McRaven is known as the “Time Capsule of the South” but also known as “Mississippi’s Most Haunted House.” We offer history tours daily, and our haunted tours on weekends… But what’s the difference?
Haunted tours begin at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and last approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Reservations are recommended due to limited space but we will accept as many walk-ups as possible. McRaven haunted tours are led by a theatrical guide in a time period costume as they give you the brief history of the Vicksburg MS families so you understand where the spirits are coming from and then reveal to you all the ghost stories of McRaven’s past residents and their own personal experiences in the home.
Haunted tours may be arranged Sunday and weeknights at the same times by reservation only with a group of four or more. If you’re interested in learning an in-depth history of McRaven, but still want to hear all the ghost stories, take the combination tour!
